Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology

I have the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT Mobility #5034) as granted by The PSYPACT Commission on August 5, 2020. I also maintain an active E.Passport credential from the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB). The E.Passport facilitates the process for licensed psychologists to practice telepsychology across state lines — in states that have enacted PSYPACT legislation — without obtaining additional licenses. Psychologists’ PSYPACT authorizations may be verified at www.verifypsypact.org.

What is PSYPACT?

In the United States of America, PSYPACT is an interstate compact which offers a voluntary expedited pathway for practice to qualified psychologists who wish to practice in multiple states. PSYPACT is designed to facilitate the practice of telepsychology across state boundaries. In order to practice telepsychology in PSYPACT states, only psychologists licensed in PSYPACT states can apply to the PSYPACT Commission for an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT). The PSYPACT Commission is the governing body of PSYPACT and is comprised of one representative from each PSYPACT state. More information regarding PSYPACT and its requirements can be found at www.psypact.org.

Registered State of Florida Telehealth Provider

In compliance with Florida Statutes [s.456.47(4)], I am registered with the Florida Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance as an Out-of-State Telehealth Provider (Reg. #TPPY422) for patients in the State of Florida.

Dual Licensure in California and Nevada

In addition to the above telehealth-specific credentials, I maintain full licensure as a Psychologist in both California (#PSY24434) and Nevada (#PY0657). This allows me to provide telehealth services as appropriate to patients throughout California as well as Nevada.
