Selecting a therapist is a process. I encourage you to "shop around" before making the commitment to initiate therapy with a mental health professional. If it does not seem that I am a good fit after our initial meeting, please let me know. We can then discuss your concerns and work together to find a provider who might be a better match. Telehealth. Due to the COVID-19 health crisis, all routine therapy services are provided via telepsychology at this time. In-person meetings at my Las Vegas office location are reserved for extenuating circumstances only on a case-by-case basis. I expect to return to full-time, in-person meetings at my Las Vegas office when the State of Nevada initiates Phase 4 of the plan for re-opening. Evaluation. Due to the in-person nature of psychological testing procedures, I have temporarily suspended all assessment and evaluation services. Waiting List. When my availability is limited enough that we cannot schedule an initial appointment within the next 30 days, my office staff may place you on a waiting list. This allows you to hold your "place in line" while seeking services from another provider in the event that you are in need of services sooner than is possible given my current availability. If you feel that we may work well together, please do not hesitate to contact my office to inquire about my current availability or to schedule a free, 15-minute telephone consultation. I do not work with persons under 14 years of age. I will help you to utilize your out-of-network health insurance benefits, should you choose to do so. In the Spring of 2018, for a variety of ethical and business reasons, I chose to transition my practice to a private pay business model. At that time, I ended my contracts as a preferred in-network provider of Hometown Health (HealthSCOPE, AmBetter SilverSummit, etc.) and Prominence Health (CDS Group) insurance panels. For more information on using your health insurance, please visit my insurance page. I do not accept Medicaid at this time. For more information on using Medicaid for mental and behavioral health services, please visit my Medicaid page. At this time, I am not a Medicare provider. For more information on what this means for clients over 65 years of age, please visit my Medicare page.Carefully.
I will have openings for new adult individual and couples therapy clients beginning November 9, 2020.
